The Community Institute of Technology (CIT) is a non-profit organization established in 2013. It is registered with the Government under the Meghalaya Societies Registration Act, XII of 1983, vide Registration No. SR/CIT-8/13 of 2013, and is also recognized by the Government of India. Furthermore, CIT holds an ISO 9001:2015 certification.
CIT is an empanelled training partner of the Government of Meghalaya through the Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) for the implementation of skill training programs across the state. It also serves as a Vocational Training Provider for Mangalayatan University, a NAAC Grade A+ accredited institution, delivering practical and industry-oriented skill training programs.
