Empowering Youth through a Skill Development partnership with the Government of Meghalaya
The Community Institute of Technology (CIT) has been empaneled with the Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) to facilitate Skill Development Training for unemployed youth under the Skills Meghalaya Project. Since 2022, CIT has been actively conducting skill development programs aimed at empowering youth with industry-relevant skills and enhancing their employability in the state of Meghalaya.
Through this collaboration, CIT has successfully delivered high-quality, accessible training programs tailored to the needs of the local community, focusing on technology and other key sectors that align with the state’s growth priorities. The initiative has provided opportunities for youth to gain practical skills and improve their chances of securing stable employment.
